              Work Integrated Learning (WIL) was the key topic for a panel discussion moderated by Magnet’s Executive Director, Mark Patterson, during the Conference Board of Canada’s Education and Skills Symposium.

              Panelists included: Brien K. Convery, Royal Bank Canada; Sarah Plouffe, Employment and Social Development Canada; Isabelle Duchaine, Business Higher Education Roundtable; Devin Grady, Orbis Communications Inc; and Norah I. McRae, University of Waterloo.


              During the panel, it was announced that Magnet and Orbis Communications have partnered to create Campus Connect, Canada’s largest experiential learning posting platform that streamlines the posting process for employers with work-integrated learning opportunities for post-secondary students nation-wide which is also expected to increase skills development and job opportunities for students.
