More Jobs in One Place! Magnet’s New Public Job Board Feature is Here

Magnet is proud to introduce a brand new feature that will make it easier for users to search for jobs across Canada.

The Public Job Board is a new feature on the Magnet landing page that will allow job seekers to preview jobs on Magnet and across major job boards in one place. 

Introducing the Magnet Public Job Board

For users with a Magnet account…

When you visit the Magnet login page, you’ll find the Public Job Board at the top of the right hand panel.

You can search for jobs in the Magnet system or from Indeed and Canada Job Bank. For jobs outside of Magnet, you’ll be taken offsite to apply. 

If you’re interested in an opportunity that’s been shared by an employer on Magnet, you’ll be prompted to log in to your account and complete your application. 

You can search for jobs the same way when you log in to Magnet. Just choose the Jobs app from the top navigation bar once you’ve logged in. 

For users without a Magnet account…

Users without a Magnet account can still use the Public Job Board to browse jobs from Magnet and outside job boards. 

If they’re interested in applying for a job posted on Magnet, they’ll create a free Magnet account before completing their application. 

Once their account is created, they’ll continue to receive notifications when new opportunities that match their profile become available. 

Anyone can return to the Magnet login page at any time to browse and apply for jobs. WIth the Public Job Board, you can search for your next opportunity in one place.

For Community Partners…

Magnet partners have the option to include the Public Job Board as a feature on their landing page. 

Here’s how the Public Job Board supports an easier job search experience for users and allows partners to promote opportunities to wider audiences. 

How it Works:

• Job seekers can find opportunities from across different job boards in one place.
• Job seekers without a Magnet account can preview opportunities before they decide to create an account.
• Partners can use the Public Job Board to share current opportunities via social media to encourage more job seekers to apply and create a Magnet account.
