Problem Statement

The automotive and mobility sector is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by electrification, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Despite growing demand for skilled talent, there are persistent gaps in awareness and understanding of modern career pathways—particularly among younger audiences. Existing tools and resources were not fully equipped to deliver real-time, relevant labour market insights or reflect the evolving nature of the sector. Without accessible and engaging digital infrastructure, employers and educators faced challenges in attracting, informing, and preparing the next generation of talent.

Magnet led the enhancement of the Skills and Career Navigator through a digital-first approach that integrated real-time labour market intelligence with user-focused design. We developed dynamic dashboards tailored to specific segments of the automotive and mobility sector, enabling users to explore trends in skills demand, occupations, and workforce gaps.
