Led by Prepr, the Digital Transformation Program (DTP) offers dedicated funding and training to boost their digital capacity and skills of job seekers and businesses in Puslinch, Ontario.
The Digital Transformation Program (DTP) is a one-year project that will boost essential digital competencies among job seekers and employers in the Township of Puslinch, Ontario and the surrounding area.
Prepr will design and administer learning labs that will be recommended to job seekers based on an intake assessment provided by Lumina Learning.
The DTP will provide a regional focus for digital upskilling and reskilling, advancing a major labour market priority for Canada. Job seekers will receive a $500 bonus for completing the program, while employers can access $5425 in grant funding to train new hires.
Magnet leveraged its capacity to deliver an integrated technology solution that combines job matching and upskilling tools, enabling users to access multiple tools and resources through a single platform. Magnet’s ability to target information and resources to select users within our existing network also positions us to build awareness of the DTP among users and employers within the township.
By signing in to the Magnet-created DTP portal, job seekers and employers can register and apply for funding. Job seekers complete an assessment developed by Lumina Learning, with the results used to recommend relevant learning labs.
Magnet’s digital infrastructure provides the capacity to deliver a multi-pronged skills training effort. The innovative combination of the Lumina assessment and Prepr’s digital learning labs allows users to identify skill gaps and access relevant workshops and courses to help them grow and stay relevant in their careers.
Magnet shares information on programs such as the DTP with message alerts and a link carousel that takes users directly to their starting point, removing the burden of navigating to relevant programs across a vast training ecosystem.
